BULLDOG Wrestling

JH Head Coach – Jeff Stapleton

Jeff Stapleton is currently in his 33rd year of coaching.  Coach Stapleton has been at Jay since 1993 and was the Bulldogs’ Head Wrestling Coach from 1994-2021.  Currently, Stapleton is the Athletic Director and the Defensive Line Coach for the 6^th – 12^th grade Bulldogs.

JH Assistant Coach – Garrett Evans

Garrett Evans is a 2010 graduate from Cushing where he was a 2X State Champion, 3X Dual State Champion, and a member of the Oklahoma 4A All-State Team.

Evans was also a 4X DII Collegiate National Qualifier and 3X All-American for Ouachita Baptist University.

Coach Evans made coaching stops in Texas, Pryor, and Bixby.

Garrett and wife, Abby, have 3 children – Rafe, Parker, and Blake.

JH Assistant Coach – Josh Cawyer

Josh Cawyer has been coaching since 2014.  Coach Cawyer is now in his 2nd year at Jay Schools.  He coaches Football, Wrestling, and track.
